The Colombo Magistrate’s Court today (19) has issued a warrant for the arrest and production of former minister Vimal Weerawansa.
The Colombo Magistrate’s Court has issued this order to arrest and produce him due to his failure to appear in court today (19).
In 2016, during the visit of United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Prince Said Al Hussain to Sri Lanka, Vimal Weerawansa was accused of causing a public disturbance by blocking the streets and protesting in front of the United Nations office in Colombo.
